Over the last few years I’ve been on the road 8 times. 8 times driving through this vast land, 8 times avoiding animals scattered all over the road, being held up by mountain goats, late nights, early mornings, hang over to gig, gig to hang over, a virtual wash, rinse repeat of routine. And I keep coming back for more.

The biggest thing I find I do most consistently though…is neglect those of you that share an interest in what I’m doing out here. I make promise after promise, year after year to keep you all in the loop. You sign up for the mailing list, you join the Facebook page, hell some of you text me to get updates and still, I resolve to push those enquiries aside in a fog of procrastination that although human, is terribly selfish.

One could be so lucky to have any of you that read this out there, any one of you who enjoys what I do. And the simple task of keeping you in the loop should so easily be accomplished on my end that the shear thought of me letting it slide makes me cringe.

Now sure, anyone can claim anguish in a hope for empathy, but that’s not what I’m looking for here, I’m not trying to apologize either or make up for something intangible that you may or may not care for. I’ll just type these words and extend my sincere effort that I will be here more, I will share more and I’ll open up more for you.

I get to do a pretty cool thing, I play music mostly every night, I get to travel and meet a lot of great people. And though it has yet to put much coin into my pocket that is hardly the reason I do it.  It’s the only thing I love to do, even when the eyes of the room are fixated on game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, even when the chatter of the patrons drowns out whatever song I happen to be playing, it’s the few who do pay attention, who do care enough to listen that really matter. And its those of you who come to check up on me here who make it worth.

Clichéd? Maybe, but I don’t really care. Its true. So, with that here are a few more pics from the road and to follow some more stories, not just from this trek across our true north strong and free, but from other adventures our east, west, near collisions disasters and mishaps. So much that has gone unsaid and un-shown will appear and I feel I’ll be all the better for it. Sharing is fun, sharing is cathartic and lord knows I talk enough in my real life, no reason to quit the chatter on here.

Staying in touch, with luv.
